Spark Gap : Champion J-14 with neo magnet attached
Air temperature was 68 degrees Fahrenheit
MOT Temp at start 84 F
MOT Temp at end 107 F

  • retrod can you help on how to wind the coils...??? i am not positive on how there are wound...??? i have built my own Tesla Coils...

    but it seems as if there are 3 coils... and i am not sure what is connected to ground or not...??? if you can help me i would deeply appreciate it...???

    Use the latest JLN "Kapagen" schematic that has been published. Also watch his videos. He uses two material spark gap carbon & copper. I had a similar effect using an old oil fouled sparkplug that was caked in baked on carbon. Good Luck !

  • the only problematic area for me is how wind the coils...??? what wire size should i use for the coils...???
