this is really good, however, there are half-truths, like the part where it says pythagorus was instrumental, when true historians know he wasn't responsible for "his" theorem or many other things. the portrayal of the almoravids as savage is also faulty knowledge, they were extremely fierce warriors, but many academics came out of their rule. it made it seem like they were never exposed to "civilization" and "science" and "amalgamation" which is false.

Could be. Fact is that there are various opinions and researches. Some researchers get more evidence to confirm or disprove the prejudices. I am not a historian, though I have visited these places. I have seen myself most of the evidences in the documentary but the problem is that I cannot fully connect the whole story, you may be right. I would recommend you to point to the evidences which may indicate otherwise, and may have been skipped by this researcher. Thanks.
