was wondering if anyone out there could help me with a question. Can women give birth and feed the warriors (elegua ogun and osun)

    Ashe.

  • aboru, aboye

it depends on the rules of your Ile and your lineage through your Oluwo. When i was first initiated in the US i was given Warriors at some point and I fed them. I still do.

  • no matter what you think is right or wrong moraly you're an mud and blood and contain spirit like everybody else and had a head spirit and guidance like everybody else even the ones you damn so much receive the same spirit guidance as you, so why don't you focus on healing yourself instead of waisting energy judging and making people's and your own life such a struggle and a hassle.

  • @kwekuafroolmec In some ways I agree with you.The modern Yoruba will sell their religion to any one gay or imbecile to make a few bucks. Adult professors behave like children gossiping about what they do not know to look big among foreigners, I know one like this in my university, no dignity, I never talk to him. So do not lump all Nigerians or all Yoruba with such imbeciles. A lot of Yoruba are proud but some have become so weak e,g. Obasanjo..Nigeria is more than just a few weak Yoruba.

  • @labalaba9

Voudun is not associated with the Yoruba heritage in Benin

  • Aboru, aboye, abosise. What is the actual title of the video so that I can purchase it? I didn't see it when I looked on the site or on Amazon. Modupe.

  • @oluwalogbon: i think it is not the love for linguistics that is most important in my opinion, but the interest and or cherishing of the way of life.

@NativeToungue: I dont know what you refer to as vodou; whether it is the allegory that the west have run away with or the essence of some South American's spirituality, but the Truth be what is, what was and that which will always be steadfast and precise.

  • @oluwalogbon58 maatic comes from the Kemtic (egyptian) word Maat which means balance, peace and harmony inside and outside of the body..

  • Well said...

  • You know snobbery must have been invented by the Yoruba! (sorry 2 cause offence to those who are sincere in their authenticity) I am of Yoruba heritage myself but why must you look down your nose & believe everything grew in 1 backyard only?! No Voudou is a generic term used to describe the non homegenity of African indigenous traditions but is definitely more associated with the yoruba heritage among others in Dahomey/

  • Yes you continue and the truth will unravel, manifest & set U on Higher Ground! Ifa began with the dawn of creation it is Africa! Although Dahomey is known as the home of voudou Voudou is evident all over Africa Unfortunately there are those who abuse it just as in any and every religous tradition the real shame is voudou needs no more bad press as Hollywood hand in hand with christianity has done its work manifested in colonialism.

  • Whilst I am excited about the realities & the processess people go through to connect with their inner selves, PLS be very aware that many calling themselves authentic practitioners of Ifa are often out to make money from peeps vulnerabilities This is illegal, immoral and those who should know better dont give a fuck.
