thank yo for posting this! teresa stratas is fabulous.  and just seeing this one clip is making me appreciate the dancer nora kimball as an actress. i wish she could have danced more.

Wonderful performance even though the tempo is extremely slow. I seriously doubt if Teresa Stratas speaks any german, but she does manage the blend of music and text admirably and shows herself to be a fine artist.
