  • Hey Everyone, Thanks for the comments on the video...good to know most of you can use it to get your plane built. Finding where to get parts and electronics for the slow stick can be found in part #2. The video is fast, but at the time, YT had a 10 min rule. Google the net for a YouTube downloader and get yourself a copy you can play offline. Have fun - I plan to continue this series in the following months, plus I'll post some other stuff that is sure to please.

  • Always hear its so easy to build a SS but man does it look hard. A freakin Hacksaw??? Mine looks like it also needs some soldering done for the motor that came with it.

Guess I need to go to Home Depot.

  • It Really Is Easy! I used the hacksaw to cut the motor shaft for the prop-saver...it's not necessary but it can save the motor too. We put one together with just a pair of pliers once...on the soldering, you could strip the wires back and twist them together...just be sure to use some electrical tape, Home Depot to the rescue.

  • it looks really hard to build

but iam going to try my best to find a good begener plane i really like your vids thank you

  • Check out the Firebird Phantom, its a really great beginner plane for about $50, a lot less building & a lot more flying...thanks for the Kudos, more great vids coming soon.

  • Just to let you know, I am following every step of your great guides to build this awesome plane, I am a first time flier and your videos are so extremely fantastically helpful to me, I cant wait for part 4, thank you very much.

  • Hey, thats awesome...Your gonna love this hobby, there are so many cool planes in the future just waiting for you to fly, so don't give up. Learning to fly the Slow Stick will be an extremely fantastically rewarding accomplishment that you'll never forget...Whoa! that's some BIG words there. MJH

  • a longtime ago, i used to use a 2amp esc on a geared brushed 300, a 400mah ni-cd and some pico servos

  • what are the materials?

    PLEASE REPLY

  • 100,000 people have viewed this. Only four were idots to leave a negative rateing. This video is very helpful, as the Slow Stick directions are lacking. Truly greatful for the time and effort, MoJoHobbies, took to share his knowlege and time to post this video . . . . Thank you very much.

  • Thank you. this build did not stop me, but made me think twice before making my decision, and when willing and able to will one day get me my Slow stick, just not today. glad I stopped my purchase. but not upset. I will be flying a rc hobbyzone champ. to get me started again. , and tomorrow I will change my mind again. WInter is over, Spring is here. 150.00 for a full kit, 2.4 or 99.00 fm. I am sure I have those decisions to make. but Building is learning, and there is nothing like building.

  • so where is part 4 and 5

  • I posted a video response because your instructions are much better and more accurate than the booklet. In the booklet, the brackets aren't the same order as yours and yours worked better for CG.

  • Great job! Very usefull!

  • How did you make the right downward thrust angle or is it even required for this plane?

  • zip tied my 480 brushless 30 amp esc with 11.1 lipos on mine, i wonder if the wings are going to hold up

  • This is a classic airplane. It will continue to be made for years to come :)
