on Corvette Forum I hear that the Kooks cats self destruct after about a year. Have you had any problems with the catalytic converters on the Xpipe?

The tips look much too low...too far from the car, too close to the ground....

@pantera31169311 i agree and im a tech and still peoplke get on me so much about this. the only time a manual is really superior is during road racing or an autocross type of even where yoou are going to live in 2nd 3rd and 4th gears. and yes there are alot of guys taht can shif wery well and get great times at the track using a manual transmission but that doesnt make owning an automatic corvette or any sports car for that matter gay or anything that the ignorant fan manual fan boys like to say

Please don't insult my ignorance but are carbon fiber driveshafts made for Corvettes?? I'm wondering if the torque tube prevents an application.

@joeaccord23 the exhaust diameter is dependent on your intentions wilt the car. for a N/A Street Car of a mild F/I Street car a 2.5" diameter will be prefectly fine. if you are building more a strip car (N/A or F/I) with some street driving, 3" will be better. A full on drag racer, i would just go with a fully custom build system. after all more air in, you need more air out. the other thing to remeber is size of the headers you will use also.

@curancho 455 hp. cross multiply the hp and whp numbers.
so is that the best exhaust for a c6 ?

It is a very good one, but I really wouldn't reccomend the bigger exhaust unless an big motor, supercharged application was being used.
