Remy Eats Quail Eggs (Food Oddities - www.foododdities.com)

Wander through any Asian market and among the multitude of amazing food items you'll find are cans of quail eggs. That's right - quail eggs, pre-hardboiled and ready to eat. So much easier than following around a quail all day.

Why quail eggs? Well, they're more nutritious than chicken eggs by a factor of 3 or 4 depending on how you measure. And they're so darn cute. The eggs, not the birds. Although the birds are plenty cute as well.

Cute is one thing, but on Food Oddities we don't place a lot of stock in cute food. (Witness seasons 1 through 5.) How do they taste? Pull up a chair and find out.

@FoodOddities Yes! They are better without being soaked in a can full of preservatives. You boil them just like eggs.

I tryed Quail Egg's once, and then they tasted great, I had it with some seasoning for some reason. :P

I've had quail eggs "fresh" (not canned), bought from a person who raises them. They taste similar to a chicken egg, but a little bit better in my opinion. Don't make your final opinion on them until you've had fresh ones.
