@DramaInPajamas they probably had her spend time with the baby so she would do that exact thing. it was so sweet to see though. Mary knew that it was not Elizabeth's fault...she was just an innocent baby and her little sister.

@lizziemiss945 yes,but when she walked to the baby,the music changed,got a darker tone.i think they wanted an implied danger. but when mary sang to the baby,you knew things were fine

@swanlakegirl She is not being cruel but simply because Mary at that point was illegitimate while Elizabeth was heir, and there was fear that she might do something to hurt the child to get back her place on the throne, hence Mary was not suppose to be alone with Elizabeth.
