Sharks attacking people in Clifton, must be yuppy sharks. Muizies rule, Fishhoek and Clovelly. Recently the False Bay coast has seen an increase in shark activity, you have to love them though, beautiful creatures.

Man thats BS. Admittedly there are more shark species in the warmer waters, but the Great White actually prefers cold water because their main prey are seals, which you won't find in the Indian. People have been attacked in Mosselbay and Clifton Beach in CT.

In durban, South Africa's surfing capital with warm waters, there are nets. Durban hasn't seen a shark attack in years as far as i know.
On the cold, atlantic side, you really don't need to worry about sharks. The water is way to cold.
