Left 4 Dead - How to Solo Expert No Mercy Finale

[This is old and outdated]

Soloing an expert finale. I thought it would be virtually impossible *unless* I found a REALLY good spot. Well, I found that spot on No Mercy. The tanks will de-spawn if you sit in that corner long enough. The only reason I fought the second tank is because I got antsy at that smoker that kept getting me on previous attempts. Thankfully the tank gets stuck anyway, plus it blocks the last hunter's pounce. I also had some issues keeping AI Bill/Francis/Louis dead and stay dead because of the way it auto respawns teammates just before a finale, so I just incapacitated them and let the zombies do the rest.

@1Morey i tried this for 45 minutes. every time, either a smoker got me in the jesus spot, a smoker got me near the chopper, or a tank came in too early in the level and killed me.

(Continuing the other comment) so when I first got the game I thought I'd never beat 1 campaign on expert,well maybe No Mercy,but I never thought I would beat all 4 (that I beat with my brother),but u know it's possible because u know I did it.

Me and my brother a long time ago maybe half a year or something beat all 4 campaigns on expert.For No Mercy we used this spot because the Jesus Room wouldn't work.On the other finales we used the Jesus Rock,Jesus Tree and the I guess Jesus Plane.But we did have to beat the first 4 parts of the campaigns which were annoying.The easiest campaign is probably No Mercy.I have both achievements the one that u have to beat 1 campaign on expert and beat all 4 campaigns on expert.When I got the game th

With the sound, it feels epic, but it's not really that hard. I little planning, luck and skill (not to mention permanently getting rid of the other survivors) it's not that difficult.

I won No Mercy in versus, solo. 1 suicided at the elevator, 1 followed him, and the other was too late to save.

@tigerspartan06 you can't get "untouchables" like this. I already tried it and it didn't pop, the tricky part is killing your mates without them respawning, and if you hit the radio right before they die, I'm guessing, that damage still count as "being hit"
