Marley the adopted dog

PLEASE DO NOT buy puppies or animals from pet shops, as many of them come from "puppy mills" where dogs are used as breeding machines and deprived of basic care.

Marley didn't bark for a long time, now he's discovered his voice and loves to be vocal. You can see how proud of himself he looks when he does it!

I adopted him after he ran away from an abusive owner of a puppy mill multiple times. I assume the owner punished him if he ever made any noise, because it took him years to start making any kind of vocal noises. Marley ran away from the farm 3 times and the owner retrieved him twice. We had him fixed the third time he ran away and so the owner did not want him back after that, as he wasn't able to breed anymore.

Marley is about 9 years old but still likes to think of himself as a puppy. He is a very happy dog now, although he still does have some phobias and will always be a clingy dog with special needs.

omg! i love ur accent its awsome but shouldn't we buy dogs from pet stores because that way they can get more in to save? and where i live he ahve this huge mall and there is a pet store there and they get stray pets that they find walking around,have been abused.

@1puppyluver1 most pet stores often get puppies from puppy mills - so buying puppies from there would just be supporting the industry and creating more demand for puppies from puppy mills. But if it's a place that takes in strays or a pound/shelter then of course it's good to adopt homeless dogs

I have a very small dog and it's funny to see things so normal for her done on bigger dogs. haha Like she lays on her tummy with her back legs spread in the shade and I've never really seen a larger dog do that. He looks like a very mild mannered bull terrier. You are lucky! He's soo sweet. And I'm so jealous of your lemon tree. I'd love to have one in my back yard though we do have wild grapes in our backyard! :D You should sell lemons at a local farmers market!!

right now it's spring / summer where she is, and its, FALL season here in the EASTERN States , so THATS where spring and summer went, it went to AUSTRAILA !!!! GET BACK HERE!!m I hate Autum / Winter Season!! it SUX!! , Cute DOG BTW!!
