Unfortunately the video is me when I was first diagnosed at age 15, I am now 46 years of age. Looking back at this video I cannot believe how frightened that young girl was and it's hard for me to watch even to this day. Guess what? Not only do I have Parkinson's Disease, I also have MS. I can't understand what is up with this? I guess it could be worse.

I'm not here to whine or complain and I most definately DO NOT want ANYONE feeling sorry for me. I am here because I feel and have felt it is long past time the government and pharmaceutical houses do something productive besides managing to get away with distributing drugs that are not (in my opinion) suitable to be distributed to those who suffer day in and day out with this illness. It is a most unforgiving illness and the medicines are archaic. If you or a loved one has PD I can recommend a wonderful hospital with doctors who surpassed all my expectations (and I have seen too many neurologists to list). Contact me if you would like the information. You may reach me at: tlrothwell@gmail.com or you can google Tammy Rothwell.

Look, anyone living in communities that have any type of insecticides spred in their air that might eventually enter the water table is vulnerable. If you carry the PD gene, it is a very good possibility you could pass that on to your child, or even (which might be the case with me) is a dormant gene from a virus from many years ago quite similar to the H1 virus of today. Scary? You're darned right it is and I just want the pharmaceutical houses to realize some people will not remain silent just because they signed a document saying they would be. Phizer, you forgot something in that document. You DID NOT say I couldn't repost every video I had previously posted.

  • My Mum has just been told she has this today. Does anyone know if she'll live for a long time? I'm worried becasue I have no one else in my life.

  • @orbital92hotmail Parkinson's is not deadly. My dad has had it for 28 years.

  • No. it's not deadly, at least I have never bee told that.

  • Just tell her not to give up.

  • Hi Tammy,

You don't know me. In your video you said "don't feel sorry for me." Well I don't! I admire you for standing up for what's right!

    Keep fighting!

    A friend.

  • Thank you.

  • My Dad has Parkinson's and he does take Mirapex. He shakes like you. He's 63 and has had Parkinson's for about 10 years. What should he do?

  • Whenever someone asks me to.

  • Well, the best piece of advice I would have for you is to NOT TAKE MIRAPEX!!! I don't know what city you have access to as far top neurologists, but I finally found one who understands what I'm talking about. As far as what PD has done tomy life Google Tammy Rothwell and mirapex and you might understand a bit aboout what I have been through.

  • i think i may also have early onset parkinson's at 27 yrs old and would love to correspond
