For more than 5 years Saad Iqbal Madni was prisoner Nr.. 743 in Guantanamo Bay. The prize-winning reciter of the Quran Madni was illegally arrested by US army officials in January 2002 in Indonesia and then clandestinely trafficked to Guantanamo Bay. He claims he was brutally beaten, abused and tortured during his over five years imprisonment there. He tells his story of torture and dehumanization and that he remains haunted by the humiliating experience until the present day.
