Schiltach is a little romantic village in the Black Forest in Germany. It is well known for its preserved half-timbered houses. The whole village is build of these kind of houses. The village is situated on the river Kinzig flowing to the Black Forest. In the surrounding areas of Schiltach you find other touristic places like Freudenstadt, Hornberg and Haslach

  • Wow I'd love to go visit that place, I wish I could move to Germany from America, my ancestors moved from there, I wish to start life back there...plus there's more metal heads in Europe region and bands play there more than America

  • Schiltach is one of the most beautiful spots on earth! I lived there for a week in high school (1979), and have been back to visit several times; it has not changed except there is a kebab shop and a Chinese restaurant now. :-)
