www.ProGuitarShop.com Fender Road Worn Guitars

Some things get better with age and Fender knows it. Thats why we are proud to introduce the new Fender Road Worn Guitars for 2009. These guitars are perfectly aged for that broken in feel and look. The vibe from these guitars is unmistakably cool like that old Chevy Nova parked in the garage. The Fender Road Worn guitars look, feel, and play like they have been on stage for 40 years with fretboard wear, arm wear on the finish, and aged hardware and pickups. Pick one up and it feels like your best friend. When your fingers come to rest on the strings they feel like they have been there for years. Every detail and nuance of the Road Worn guitars is reminiscent of the bygone days when rock was rock and scars were proudly displayed as a badge of experience.
Fender Road Worn Guitars

The Fender Road Worn guitars are lovingly distressed (aged) in order to create a guitar with a particular vibe and feel. Sometimes a brand new guitar just doesnt sound or feel right until its had a beer spilled on it or has been dropped on the floor. The Road Worn guitars feature an alder body (except the Tele which is an ash body) and maple necks complete with 6105 frets. These guitars are loaded with Tex Mex pickups for serious snap and bite, perfect for any style of music. All the hardware is distressed to complete the reliced look. The Fender Road Worn series is the perfect guitar to show your chops with attitude and style.

  • Fender is full of s#it.

  • How do you spell the name of the 60's strat pickguard ?

  • @lulilubaa no mexico

  • are these guitars made in usa?

  • and why no mid priced fender p basses!!!

  • @LEPRECHAUNdropmeso yeah, and the fender sounds better. modern LPs sound muddy to me...

  • That guitar is made in USA japan or mexican

  • @coronet67 Pretty ignorant statement there considering a MIM Standard Strat does not have: a Vintage radius neck with heel truss rod adj, 6105 frets, Nitro Finish, Deluxe Vintage Tuners, full size steel trem block, and Tex Mex pickups. You can go buy a MIM Standard and sand it down, but that's all you will have...a sanded down MIM Standard Strat with inferior neck, finish, hardware and pickups.

  • @HallzonCraft The finished fretboards are sanded and then slightly dyed to make the spots look dirty. They do it in positions that an average player would use the most for rhythm and solo sections to make it look convincing. there really ain't much more to it.

  • How do they relic the neck like that? Does someone know how i can find a "how to video"?
