  • im having issues, wondering if you could help. when i film in 60 fps and review the footage skips at normal speed playback. is this supposed to happen? also i dont know how to slow it down. a respnse would be appreciated.

  • @GE4RSxx so to me, it sounds like your computers video card cant handle the video. my desktop has a similar problem, and if you make the video half size or less you'll probably be able to have smoother playback. about the slowing it down, you need a video editor. i use sony vegas pro 9

  • did u slow it beyond 24 fps? looks a bit choppy

  • @bangzilla i shot and edited it at 720p 60 fps. most editors dont to hd 60 fps but i used some scripts for sony vegas pro. it was inputed edited and exported at 60 fps and slowed down just by stretching out the clip im not sure how slow it is

  • @nobrdskifast12

Where do you get the scripts?

  • @MinnesotaAlexander

i just googled around. it took me awhile but i found a full tutorial on how to do it

  • @nobrdskifast12 what sd class card did you use? Class 10?

  • Lock to stretch please ! :D

  • Dont forget to right-click the slowmotion audio and press properties and then check the "lock to stretch" box to not get that crappy slowmotion sound ;)

  • You slowed it down way to much for 60fps. If it was a super fancy camera shooting 120 or 240 fps it would have been awesome, but you get choppy at 60fps. I love shooting slow mo with the Go Pro though. I have found my best results are creating a video running at 24 fps (normal is 30, but movies are 24 so you will be ok on choppiness) and then slow the go pro footage to 40% on the good parts.

  • what video resolution setting did you use

  • delete the audio and add some music

  • @nobrdskifast12 Basically this guy doesn't have a clue, vegas does support 60. He should have set speed to 50% and set the audio stretch mode to elastic so bits didn't get missed out like in the video. Drag your clip in vegas, right click on it in timeline, hit properties and set you underplay rate to 50% this will make it play at 30 which will look smooth.

  • @GE4RSxx Filming in 60fps doesn't slow down the footage, it mealy RECORDS in 60 frames per second. If you slow the footage down by a half, then it will play at 30fps.

    Youtube doesn't support 60fps anyway.

  • Audio suck
