Entertaining is correct. I don't go to church to be entertained, that's what I have Direct TV for. I wish the singers, choirs, and yes, some preachers would stop the show and just let God work through them. We don't need a new twist on classic hymns. And for the cleaver preachers, stop the sermons that are "so deep" that every two minutes you have to tell the congregation that they just missed it. Really, come on now, our God is not the author of confusion.

You know what really ticks me off? People trying to say that all of this is unnecessary to worship God. Sure, he does get kinda showy and it's probably not what most of us would do, but God said let His people worship Him with a joyful noise. The same thing happened on the day of Pentecost when people did not understand what was going on when it was in fact, the Spirit of God moving upon his people. There is no one cookie-cut way to worship God. If he wanted to do so in that way, then let him.
