  • simple to just place a pot of water in front to cook soups and stews. poach eggs and fish boil and steam vegetables. great camping alternative if you dont want to create emmisions

  • if you really want to make something work here it is take a parabolic solar concentrator and send light into a mirrored cone shape focal point then send that light into mirrored glass tubing which will send the light into a mirrored box with solar panels in it the solar panels must be cooled by spinning or cooling system.now get to work

  • @jackelprince1988 it's called a stirling engine

  • God work! That was really very interesting.

  • put a stirling or steamengine on it :)

  • anyone have any ideas on how to harness that back towards usable energy? maybe causing a wheel to spin somehow

  • Very nice!

Have you been able to cook with it yet ?

  • This is a solar concentrator not just a solar collector... very nice solar dish.

  • Bigger dish = more power on small area. I used a 640mm diameter parabolic satellite dish covered it in REAL glass 25mm mirror tiles, direct sun - ignites cardboard in ~2 - 3 seconds.

  • depends on the angle of the sun.you can reflect son w/ a mirror across the street. dead on your right.
