  • That was damn near professional and I loved the fact that it was mixed English/Romanian. Did it cost much? Bravo!

  • Thanks for your comments!

The film probably cost around $2000 Australian to make... but most of that went on the cost of the actual film stock and processing (it was shot on super 16mm and not on video).

  • It's funny how different cultural groups react to this film, all of the Romanians who watch it seem to laugh at different times than the English speakers. I hope it has something for everyone though. The biggest challenge was filming it in Australia in winter time... do you think we managed to pull it off?

    Glad you enjoyed it. :)

  • filmu pt mine e funy imi place ..

  • That was filmed in oz? - no way! The plate on the car? wasn't that a Timsoara plate? The furniture in the house? the structure of the house? It looks pretty old. If it was filmed in oz I'd say you did pull it off. Dublu bravo!

  • wow...indeed a funny movie...and also a pretty good one!congrats!waiting to see more:)

  • Hey, dude, just finished watching the film. I was impressed! Great production values fantastic music, and I loved the approximate Simpsons reference: "Let's bake some cookies for the boys!" I didn't mention it when we met, but your sister reminds me heaps of Sheryl Lee (Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks). Anyways, I enjoyed. Loved the Uncle Nelu character, he was a treat. In any case, I look forward to seeing more from The Andrada. :D
