People it's better to die eating good things than to die eating trash. Our ancestors have been eating palm oil, palm oil we all know makes gives stews certain great taste so please leave my palm oil alone and stop disgracing it.

@quitejaded lol. Let me know how it came out.

@datzfast to this soup i will add one teaspoon of butter so the fat soluble vitamins that survived cooking can be absorbed. without the butter they are gone out my tail pipe.
-
@quitejaded No, vegetable saturated fats cause the human body to manufacture protective cholesterol because vegetable saturated fats are causing damage to the body. you are reading out dated sciece that can kill you. Animal fats are the safe fats.

im going to make an okra and lintel soup.

@dancenijas Nevermind! Someone made Egusi soup! I warmed my okra and added the egusi soup and salt! DELICIOUS!!

@TheStilledPeace Your body NEEDS saturated fat. So you are right that it must be in moderation. Vegetable sat. fats are better than animal sat. fats.
is there any need to use palm oil ? or is essential??

@latinabonita22 - Palm oil is not necessary. I've eaten boiled okra soup without palm oil before. It has a more natural taste.

You should be able to find it in an African (mexican too maybe?) supermarket near you.
