  • I think going natural is the best cleansing system. It's almost like a life changing experience. Things that never irritated me before now really get on my nerves such as hearing women talk about how they can't go outside cause their relaxers are due.

  • It's not "just a fucking hairstyle". Black people (particularly black women) have a long history of applying chemicals and flat irons to their hair and scalps in order to be more like white people/their white master. To embrace yourself just as you are, all the way down to your own natural hair texture the way it grows out of your scalp is, in a word, POWERFUL. Now, go troll elsewhere.

  • That's true. When I went natural I felt so free of all the chemicals lol. I still flat iron when I want but it's not often. I started working out just to feel good, which triggered eating healthier. I have to say thanks to going natural lol.

  • @blahblahblahman Why do people think that black people with chemical treated hair wanna be like white people? If you want straight hair and there's a product for it, why not use it.? If you wanna change the color of your hair and there's a product for it , use it. Most (black) people put chemicals or weave in their hair because its easier to manage and because they look good with it. Let people make their own choices in live. They don't harm anybody with it..damn... Mind ur own f.***business

  • I totally agree with you. I think it's a natural progression. We become more aware of the products we put on our hair and then it rolls over into other aspects of our lives.

  • @sunnyashers Thanx :)

  • @Longhairstile I love that "insecurity costs too much" that is so true. Wasting money to be a shallow definition of beautiful. Is so sad. All the money women spend on going to the beauty salon to get relaxers, flat irons and what not.. omg.

  • very true message......its me :)

  • I am trying to watch the shea butter video to get the ingredients. It won't play for some reason. can you help me?

  • @Kittyc908 LOL I would have made you sick back in the day. I was just thinking of how I used to be and it's like I'm so glad that I'm not insecure like that anymore. I love myself now. I look at a lot of these black celebrities and I see them just as I was back then and they don't think they are as beautiful as we make think of them so they change everything about themselves and still feel horrible because they have never accepted their own true beauty as individuals. Insecurity cost too much :)

  • I hope my twists look as good as yours!
