Just got a hold of an old NES and this game came with it. Got through it thanks to this last video, had no idea i could kill the aliens tail, made that part soooo much easier.

I like how he refers to her as "payment." Fucking Japanese storytellers!
His relationship with Irene in this game is hilarious. She shoots him, lets him go, ends up being captured out of the blue, he saves her, she's told to kill him, he kisses her, and finally he actually learns her name. It doesn't get more ninja-like than that.

After watching you fight him, i did notice that if you hit him on the column then drop off the fireballs go off the screen. However, if you choose to stay on the columns while fighting him they accumulate and circle back. Maybe he's not that difficult after all. At any rate, he gave me problems as a kid.

This was the first game i got for my nes, and it was an excellent choice. NG was game of the year for the nes in 89. The second last boss - Jacquio, gave me the most problems in this game with his annoying fireballs.
