ILPproduction, the baby chicks need warmth. A heat lamp works well for this. We recommend that the brooder stay at 90-95 deg. F for the first week, then reduce temperature by 5 degrees each week until you reach 70 deg. F. After that the chickens shouldn't need supplemental heat.
