What I do is listen to music which is not my norm. It helps my perspective. I find I have more musical influences to work with that way.

I try not to use arpeggio's anymore, i used them too much and put me off them :\
I had fun with this, then got stuck for a day or two and just kinda gave up on this one.

Breaking the beat helps me sometimes, also arpeggiating when dealing with repetition. That helps too.
It sounds like a good dance sort of tune!
