Counting boxes on a miniature "production line" with a cheap laser pointer and a light sensor.

For more info about the HP48 connection with arduino (working as a complementary remote command device) take a look in http://groups.google.cl/group/comp.sys.hp48/browse_thread/thread/33468da10be7... (I had to create a simply translator to virtually support the HP-Arduino I/O)

  • can you offer any advice on how to create this exact system but instead output the count to an lcd display?

  • @taylorvail18 Yes, with a serial lcd display it is much more simple to do

  • Please, ERIED, can you say me song name in this video? Congratulations, buddy!

  • you could've used the 48's IR to detect objects passing by.

or a simple circuit with laser LEDs on the rs232.

i think using the arduino was overkill.

    good work though.

  • @tsirosgoddammit Nothing is "overkill" for learning purposes :-)
