Just because you wear the uniform and play wanna-be infantry w/ the other boyscouts at school doesn't mean you're a soldier. Unless you've actually worked as an enlisted person (not just BCT private status) a cadet cannot call him/herself a soldier in my books. They are "cadets." Otherwise that title wouldn't exist. I hate cadets man. It's embarrassing cause I am one right now.
