Alan Burke and Joe McHugh as members of the group Airla with Mick de Hoog,Bríd Ní Mhaoileoin and Christian Fotsch play a slow reel composed by Ian Stevenson called "The Destitution"
Thanks for getting back to me. Just wanted to check, as Ian is my father and is indeed living in La Rochelle in France. Malcolm Wray spends most of his time between France & Ireland, and still plays with Dad. They formed a band with a French Guy and called it Tre Bog, and they were fun. Dad still does Solo gigs all around the place too.
@BelletedIzzy Yeah he was mate. The people in the band are all still playing. But in all different parts of Europe.I found a blog somewhere and it said Ian is living in France.Ive just got in contact with Joe after 32 years.HA HA HA.He taught me to play the whistle and a touch on the pipes.
