At the Brady Pub, Bo suprises Carly with an early Chrstmas gift - a traditional Irish Claddagh Ring. Carly is moved to tears over the loving gesture. Bo opens up to her, admitting he was not altogether honest earlier, i.e. about the case involving the investigation of Lisanne Gardener not being classified as a 'Closed Case' yet, Bo emphasizes he does not to have any secrets/lies between them as a couple.

Bo and Carly go over to see Father O'Toole at St-Lukes in preparation for their upcoming Nuptials. Bo steps out of the office briefly to follow-up on a lead, Carly discusses her dilemma Father O'Toole (in confidence) - involving her son Nikki and Lisanne's accidental death.
