Well the 10.49 record was very windy, It should not have been ratified. The guage was broken.

What is strange is that to this day that record still stands....the men's record is broken almost every 2 years or so, but the womens has stood for soooo long. This is despite improved and more grulling training regimes, better diets and technique..
