India's Anti -Ballistic Missile System will be Multi-Layered.
1. AAD and PAD - can hit ballistic missiles at the terminal Phase. ( Altitude 100 km )
2. AD-1, AD-2 and Anti-ballistic Missile Multiple Kill vehicle or ABM-MKV - (under development) can intercept missiles at the mid phase. (Mid Phase Altitude of Ballistic Missiles from the Interception side 100 to 1200 km)
3. Laser weapon (under development)- It is for intercepting boost phase of ballistic missile. Altitude 100 to 400 km (Ground based laser and Air borne laser-ABL, and space based laser weapon) part of weaponization of space program

@kotianashit kali or durga are not WEAPONs. they are particle accelerators on the current aims. if all goes well, they will be used for weapon systems...but integration,they say, is difficult. lets HOPE they are used. coz SOFT KILL is smart work!
