River Phoenix Who Knew 2/4

I used a few of my favorite black & whites to in a way show the sadness of River's passing. I wont lie when I watched it to make sure everything looked right I had to hold back tears which is more than I can say about my 4th video tribute to River but that will come later. River left a lot of loved ones behind, not just family & friends but a world filled with fans. Every interview I hear when a celebrity talks about River's death, they feel in a way guilty about it. No one saw it coming, so really who knew?

Oh i love this song. My best friend actually committed suicide last year and this song was dedicated to him. It's good to see that such a heartfelt song has been dedicated to River. He was the best. He'll be forever missed. RIP... River.... and my best friend AJ. xxxx

Wow. When I saw the picture of when he was younger at he beginning I burst out crying. I think it was the second picture.

I never knew him and he died a few weeks after I was born but I miss him a lot.

I couldn't tell you why, I just do.

River is missed so much every single day, he was the idea of the perfect man.

a good person with a good outlook, just that one bad choice he made.

If I could have one wish, I would wish for River to have a second chance here, his fans weren't ready to see him go, until he was an old man with so many years under his belt :(

Very touching tribute and I wish I'd appreciated him before his passing. I was never a fan back then, probably because I hadn't seen any of his movies and I was put off by the fake mass produced 'pretty boy' image most young celebs had in the late 80s.  I think that even if he spoke up about a problem the machine would have tried to stop him. Thanks again.

You shouldn't feel bad! I was conceived like, a week before he died. So I feel horrible that I wouldn't even have ever had a shot at meeting him!! :( But Some people can sense those kinds of things! Maybe you have an ability of some sort! At least he is happy now in heaven!! :)

This is kind of haunting to me because when I was a kid ( I have been a fan since I was 11-32 now), I used to think River was going to die in a plane crash. It is like I knew I would lose him too early or something. My friends would always tease me that he would die in the plane crash and I would about cry. I was so scared of losing him before we had ever met. :(
