  • @duckboyd when the yamaha breaks down, the verados can town it in....

  • Poor Test! Dont know the Yamas, but Mercury has one clear Problem: poor Quality, buy a Merc and dont forget to incl. one Mechanic in the deal, youll need them very soon!

  • NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!

yamaha f350 ans f300 do NOT make that noise when they shift

  • who says yamaha's are the best? I've driven all of the major outboards brands other than suzukis and evinrudes, never driven a yamaha with anything but piss poor performance. once drove a 24 footer with a 200hp yami with a whopping 37 MPH top speed with 4 people. All the mercs i've driven performed well, the johnsons were bulletproof (Hit a rock going WOT with a johnson and drove it home). Yami guys enjoy your motors, i hope but doubt you'll enjoy them as much as I will my mercs and johnsons.

  • @lexmark136 my 3.3 will smoke yo ass, lol

  • haha, what a cheap test^^

  • None of those issues after owning a Yamaha 225 after 5 years. Pretty sure they aren't exempt to having issues but which brand isn't?

  • yamaha is better there are test that the yamaha 300 outran the 300 verado

  • idk what this video talking about? but i like yamaha boat

  • ohh goodness. I've had so many outboards. Mercurys sometimes sound cooler, every now and then they get the looks right. But at any point I would prefer a Yamaha, Suzuki or Honda over a Mercury. When you're out there it's power, fueleconomy and above all reliability that counts. No way I'd buy a mercury or Evinrude even. Sorry americans, great country but poor outboards these days.
