MAARS Robot Demonstration during RIMPAC 2010

Marine Corps Warfighting Lab provides a demonstration of the Modular Advanced Armed Robotic System (MAARS) at Hawaii's Bellows Air Force Station during RIMPAC 2010. The MAARS is a tele-operated M240G machine gun system with a man in the loop system. It has a multiple mission payload capability providing remote targeting and weapons engagement, and advanced intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance for greater situational awareness.

I imagine it will be pretty easy to sneak up on/ disable.

Another idea: make em cheap and strap C4 on it and drive straight into the enemy. It's a suicide machine anyway if the sh*t hits the fan. I mean.. why GIVE a M240B to the enemy?...

Excellent piece of futuristic machine... awesome !

But needed to invent the silent mechanism & its DC motors.

Make the wagging antenna fixed in the location to reduced unwanted attention.

LCD monitor should have been using the non-glare type to reduced unwanted light reflections.

They have now developed armour around the strength of high-grade-tank-armour, and have fitted it with stronger weapons, and faster mobility.

Also, as of July 4th 2011; it will be operational in war.
