In October and November of 2010 I spent thirty days in Rajasthan, India, mostly wandering the streets and forts with my camera. I never expected to find such a variety of people working—really working—out in the open, in little shops, markets and everywhere I turned. Their dedicated craftsmanship kept me enthralled and exhausted throughout.
I shot this mostly on a Canon 5d Mark II, with some footage from an Elf point and shoot mixed in. All was hand-held, which is painfully obvious at times. I edited with Final Cut Pro and Color.
