  • American health care throws soooooo much money at treating the symptoms (destroyed knees, herniated discs, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, atherosclerosis, sleep apnea, DVT, and on and on) and so little at treating the cause.

Move more + eat less. It's proven. It's simple. It's effective. It's cheap.

  • @grettagrids Yes, you can help to keep your weight under control with proper medication and a reasonable diet. You are predisposed to weight gain without treatment.

You may never be at your ideal weight, but you can certainly avoid becoming obese (i.e. BMI of 30+).

Your condition does not prevent you from regular exercise and a reasonable diet. Your medical condition is unfortunate and unfair, but it should not be used as a crutch.

  • we all have patients like this. your video doesn't help things. we should sue the manufactures of the high calorie crappy food in this country just like the tobacco industry. whatever they are putting in the processed food is killing us and making us addicted to the crap. If the govt. didn't subsidize this crap we all would be a lot less fat

  • The lady in the video looks so skinny!

  • Ah, the communication skills are almost as good as mine

  • This is a very bad doctor!

  • He probably IS a bad doctor if he's promoting bulimia.

  • not all fatts are in denial. But most are.Obesity is for some cause sudden pain and no famaily home coroperation.

  • sooooo true! Fatty's are all in denial...

  • @Mairsbar oops except vomiting... vomiting after meals is baaad kids!

  • God I wish we could say this to patients.....

  • @grettagrids You are an exception sweety. This is clearly about an overeater, lazy, couch potato who doesn't want to work hard to lose weight. Drugs and surgery are easier to take than diet and exercise and is essentially why the US is about 60% overweight/obese or worse. Out of all the obese women on the planet sweety, how many are lazy overeaters, and how many have PCOS? This is a video about the former.
