The purpose of this experiment was command efficiency. He didn't care if it took him a day to do this. As long as he broke the record for number of commands (lower number = better), he was happy.

seeing it put this way makes me sick... got too bored to watch the entire thing. I bet this is the same kind of "logic" behind the Windows API. "Keep It Simple, Stupid" my ass :P

lol I had a hard time with level 8, but now that I see it supports recursion it's basically a backtracking algorithm

actually, he's right, depending on the version you use, recursive methods may or may not work.
