"From Hell" is a 2001 Mystery Thriller directed by the Hughes Brothers. Starring Johnny Depp and Heather Graham. Inspector Fred Abberline, a brilliant yet troubled man whose police work is often aided by his psychic "visions," becomes deeply involved with a case of strange and gruesome murders in 1888 London, which takes on personal meaning to him when he and Mary, a prostitute and potential victim, begin to fall in love.

This great film could have been real classic of Mystery/Thriller genre - intriguing and interesting storyline, great acting, awesome ending. Johnny Depp was great as always. Heather Graham did a good job too. Ian Holm ('Alien', 'The Fifth Element') was special as villain
