great channel - well done

Charley Pride did a beautiful version too. It was on the album"She's just an old love turned memory" Now it's on " 20 classics" The baritone of his voice , really makes this song perfect.

I discovered this song on Pandora. What a great Waylon tune.

Waylons albums in the mid 70ties were just in class by them self. Honky Tonk Heroes, This Time, Dreaming my Dreams, and this one, are superb.
One of the best songs ever done and one of the saddest a brilliant recording by Waylon as usual

Written by Lee Fry. Lee's in bad shape right now, in hospital. We wish him comfort and progress.
