  • Hello. I'm the soloist. Thanks for the compliments everyone. And wyntonc, our choral director during her whole 30 something years teaching there, has never allowed a senior who's never been in choir to be in the top concert choir, Except me....

  • Well.. most of the guys this year are new. lol

  • We're about to perform this, and I really like it. It almost seemed like you all went a little fast though. Maybe thats just my preference though.

    Really nice though.

  • Thanks, you'll have fun with it. Everyone has their own perspective. =)

  • this was really well done! I can't wait for my choir to perform this piece!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Who The Hell Was Booing that amazing soloist?!?!?!?

  • This is good! (I'm 6 years old.)

This is the best version I've ever heard! Great job! (I'm 8 years old.)

Beautiful and moving! So inspiring and uplifting! Thank you! (I'm the mommy.)

  • I was in the concert choir in Dickson in 84 and 85 the first class to win the International Festival of Choirs.........you guys sound good to.......keep singing!.

It's what I do for a living now!

  • Sounds pretty good, but Mr. Soloist you should stand still plant your feet instead of leaning around and shifting like a nervous elementart school girl. :D You sound too nice to not look like you know what you are doing.

  • We performed this when I was in the DCHS choir and alumni choir. We actually did it faster than this, and I think it gives an urgency to the subject matter to do it faster. Regardless of the tempo, this rocked!!!!! As for the soloist, it's again interpretation, and you nailed it! (I've been singing solos for years, and I know not everyone has liked how I've interpreted things, but that's never bothered me. DO YOUR THING!!!!!!)

  • @ScubaSteve7569 wow. you sound like a douche.

  • why is this so rushed?

  • @ScubaSteve7569 Great job! This is Mr. Burns from Centennial and I am impressed.

  • I agree with elilong and I don't even know the kid or the group. Maybe the conductor should have coached him, but he will learn. I hate to see kids who put hard work into things get beaten down.

  • WOW, one of my favorites from a flash to the past in my high school years. The Kansas All State Choir Performed this in 1981 and was awesome, but that kid flat blows the Kansas All State Soloist away from 1981.
