58. Jason X part 2

The Main Issue Im trying to bring up here isn't "Jason X was stupid", its "Jason X cannot be accepted as part of the Jason Franchise" If you think it was a Good Movie then thats fine but you cant be going around saying or correcting people on Facts about Jason using shit from this movie. If you thought it was a Bad Movie thats Fine too but again you cant be going around saying This movie ruined the Franchise or did ANYTHING to the real Jason Voorhees.

Think of it as a High Budget Fan Made film that got lucky. I could go out right now and make a movie about how Jason has a secret talent to cook Chinese Food, would you suddenly except that characteristic into his Character? or bitch about it because you think it destroyed the whole concept of Jason? Or just Laugh and carry on like your suppose to be doing?

From what I understand, they were trying to think of a plot and victims for Freddy vs Jason, so what they did was Jason X. That's what it was basically; a little something to try and make them happy while they work on the horror crossover.

Todd Farmer was just another out of work writter who sucked and he made a Jason script that sucked and the producer was his friend or some crap and they gave him a break. That whole crap about "people wont remember who Jason was after that long" doesn't make any sense. Freddy didn't have a movie since 1994 so where the hell was his popularity boost movie. Who the hell was forgetting them anyway? Where's the stats for that bullshit?

@sethars1 Jason X started its production back in 1999, shooting in 2000, released in theaters in summer of 2001. The first Halo game was released November 2001. I have not found any information and I highly doubt that Jason X intensionally used the Halo suit, furthermore if you look at it more it really isn't a halo suit at all. And mind you I am being very very calm on this issue right now.

True fans of the franchise do not love Jason X, The Friday the 13th Franchise is packed with 80s music and 80s refferences which can be a characteristic of what makes the original F13 series so great. Therefore if anyone calls themselves the Number 1 fan of 80s music should in theory love the F13th Series and see how Jason X took away amazing aspects of the franchise which made it so great, Like: 80s Music. Hence one way or another I call this user a liar.

i thought the whole beanbag scene was pretty fucken hilarious and i got to agree with that one guy jason looks like a fucken power ranger. jason is pretty awsome but no one really knows what he is cause he aint no hero and he certaintly isnt a villian so what the fuck is he at least with freddy you know where he stands so what the fuck is suppose to be done i mean like after jason finally kills fred for the last time what is suppose to be done does jason fall into a forever sleep i dont get it
