Fantastic performance and duo. Mick was my private instructor at Berklee and I have nothing but words of praise for him. Incredible musician, educator and human being!

Teacher and student together. I'm always struck how Mick Goodrick so influenced and is the creative genius behind John Scofield and Pat Metheny and yet they are the better known guitarists. No one matches the phrasing, ease, and skill of the great Mick Goodrick. Wish he were seen more and there were more opportunities to go hear him perform.

I question the statement
"Pat's place in Jazz history is firmly established"
Most of his music is not Jazz it's some sort of fusion.
Question and Answer is a very good album and some other Jazzy albums such as Bright Size Life or songs he does such as "All the Things You Are"
It 's correct in a sense that his place in Jazz is firmly established but you have to admit a lot of his visibility compared to someone like Mick Goodrick comes from his crossover albums
