@ljguy300 It does but it doesn't change the style of a particular brand of car; i.e. Bugatti kept in line with the ridiculousness of the the EB110 (Quad-turbo, ridiculously fast) and Jaguar didn't start building glorified Tata Nanos. It's all a part of brand identity that doesn't disappear even with different ownership.

@taylor1038 so funding doesnt matter?
-
And they were up against us lot...... :D
-
@ljguy300 Yes, yes but the factory and headquarters are in France. They get their funding from VW group's deep pockets but that is all. If went along those lines Jaguar would be Indian and TVR would be Russian.

@taylor1038 i thought it was the VW group that owned bugatti

@hdidane00 The McLaren F1 is from a British manufacture (McLaren Automotive in Surrey) the only component they didn't make in house were the engine and gear box. A German Engine and American Gearbox does not make for a German or American car, nor would it have made for say a Japanese car if Gordon Murry had gone with the original Honda engine. Oh and there is still no Italian or German car that comes close to its top speed of 243MPH. Bugatti is French by the way... Shithead
