so when you install via windows.....and boot into ubuntu....windows OS isnt actually running? im just trying to wrap my head around this.... I understand that t5he HDD isnt messed with but how can an OS be installed ontop of an OS without needing both of them running at the sme time?

@VersePro If you have 64 bit architecture there is no reason you shouldn't install 64 bit. But does wubi not give you an option for 64/32bit?
