  • what a sad day for gun owners

  • @jeffxl12 Well it is because it took this long for some conman sense to reach into congress so that we law abiding gun owners have the same (kind of) rights as criminals.

  • Can u upload a video how to hold a handgun please thank u

  • @BullzOnParade17 H.R. 822 would require the Comptroller General of the U.S. to conduct an audit of the laws and regulations of each state that authorizes the issuance of a valid permit or license to permit a nonresident to possess or carry a concealed firearm.

This passes in the senate we (the gun owners) are screwed even more. You never want to hand over states rights to the feds. I know we are smarter than that. Just remember, just because the NRA is supporting this doesn't make this

  • H.R. 822 only passed the House of Representatives. We have a bicameral system, for it to become law, it still needs to pass the Senate (which is democratically controlled and highly unlikely). Even if it does pass the Senate, it'll land on Obama's desk and he has to sign it into law or veto it.

  • @mp5man The same rights as criminals? really? Criminals have not had this right right before, they did it illegally, so don't call it a "right" It is not a "right" to break the law. And please plan what you say before going on camera so you don't spend so long collecting your thoughts. And take a look at you and say "go for it" is not something they can do. They have to pass laws with the whole of society in mind, not each individual; that would be far to difficult.

  • Pause @2:45 lololol

  • @cornflake71 Well no because the federal law does not affect state law or Illinois would have to have a carry law

  • Since every issue that has could possibly have opposition generally dies, battle lines are always drawn. Especially with guns, being such an emotionally charged subject, politicians are always weighing whose side on what issue they will will side with or oppose.

As with every gun law, it will ultimately end up in the Supreme Court and the finality of the bill or law will be decided at that time.

  • @BullzOnParade17 If The make it a law. They can also repeal the law and stop concealed carry everywhere.

  • @jeffxl12 - How so? If you have your CCW, you can conceal carry in every state that allows it. How is that a sad day?
