    in the ballpark, yes, but just having a general idea doesn't cut it. if you sit down to watch this movie (or read the book for that matter), you'll realize there's much more too it. This isn't about a misfit finding friends. It's about a freshman so wise beyond his years, with such a clear perception of the world, that he struggles every day to overcome the awful hurt he sees around him.
