Valve's Left 4 Dead 2 played on the Sager NP5165 laptop on high settings (over 720p)

Sager NP5165 Specs

-Intel i7-2720QM (2.2ghz)
-Nvidia GT555m Graphics card
-6gb of Ram

Left 4 Dead 2 is a great game to show off the NP5165's power. L4D2 could easily be played at the highest settings keeping an average of 40 frames per second. Even when massive hordes of infected swarm the screen there is still no visible lag.

  • I've never heard of this Sager name ... someone on 4chan boards told me to check this Sager NP5165 model out, looks nice... but who makes sager?

  • @ejaracil lol, that was me that recommended it, you were the guy making the laptop gaming thread (where you chose not to explain why you were getting one right) Well anyway I really don't know to much about sager myself. I was really cool with the I.T guys at my high school and they recommended it. Apparently they usually just make laptops for other companies and just recently started making there own (by recently i mean a few years). They are a company out in CA. They're a bunch of Asian dudes.

  • Hey I was wondering, how are the fans? Are they like really loud? Will I be able to sit in a library while playing a simple game like Minecraft and go unnoticed? :D

  • @GearTier The fan can get loud when it hits its highest setting but as long as the airways are clear the fan should stay on a lower setting and not get too loud while playing a lower end game like minecraft

  • @itsadurg Can you make a video to show the fan settings on like a couple different games? I'm purchasing my first laptop and i'm scared as hell of choosing one that I don't like :c

I mean you don't have to, but it would be awesome.

  • @GearTier I want to do a video review of the laptop but i don't exactly have a good camera to record it with so until i do get one i don't really have a way to make a video right now. But when i do get a good quality camera ill start putting up videos.

  • @TheBnkAi I think its a good graphics card out there for laptops at least. So far it can play any game out there on high settings except for the newer high end games like The Witcher 2 and Crysis 2 (with directX 11 upgrade). Those kind of games do run on medium pretty well though and still look amazing. When it comes to overheating i haven't had a problem with it. I put the fan on max while running more high end games and use a cooling pad and it seems to keep the Card at a good temp.

  • so would you say the gt555m is a nice graphic card?

  • @Kidio007 no problem. I remember when i was thinking about getting this laptop i was upset that there were literally no videos at all showing off what the laptop was capable of so i decided i would put up videos for people, so im glad i could help.

  • Thanks a ton for the vids, getting mine in a week or so. :)
