  • lol you guys did good but listening to Pope's version to yours is a big difference in performance. Theirs was more of a competition end product and yours a crowd pleaser. Still an outstanding job.

  • O CONNOR IS SOO GOOD!

  • This my high schools show for next year!! So excited! Papillion La Vista South (my high school) will rock it!!

  • omg durmline is not together at all. But nice hornline, I like the over allsound for the most part

  • @darkstarmagician Unfortunately I have contacts within the system who have said that the winning bands have been PREdetermined ! YES ! And that judges are TOLD who to score high and who to score low! So you can make your case all day long, but forgive me if it falls on deaf ears when people tell me things like aforementioned. And in most people's book, "stand and blow" is not demanding..

  • @darkstarmagician

this is regarding the MRHS vs SDOHS game. i just wanted to say that the reason that we didn't go down for that game is because of the huge rivalry. we usually meet the other bands and we would have loved to talk to ridge's (they are undoubtedly amazing) but their students in the stands were not being too respectful so we decided only to send our band council. ps i think MRHS students are extremely talented, just not psychotic enough ;)

  • @darkstarmagician MR obtained a higher grade in state becuase their show was written to please the grading system, where 60% is music. OC's show, no matter where you come from you should agree, was way more physically demanding then MR's this year. MR's show had more complex music then OC's and OC's had better visual. When it comes down to it, music beats visual 60/40. Hence why MR got a better rank in state.

  • Oh yes I am saying that.....because since your director is the president of aboda.....well let's just say pulling strings isnt beyond some....so most people consider ridge disqualified.

  • @ChrisChristographer oh so are you saying that O'Connor was a better marching band than Mountain Ridge because i would beg to differ after the State Marching Competition.... But thats just me
