I'm looking to buy this model for my very first motorcycle. Do you agree that its an easy ride? Hows it for long distance riding?

those are great bikes. you can get a zillion miles out of them if you keep the oil and air filters clean.

right when you start it the vacume turns on right when you shut it of the vacume shuts off what the hell i cant hear it run

Very nice! Looks like its been well maintained. I had it's big brother - an '83 750 Shadow - and really enjoyed it for a number of years.

It is an easy bike to ride. It is good for riding around town. I don't recommend it for long distance riding, especially on the highway. It is a little under powered. Be better off with a bigger bike, like a 750-1000cc range.

Yeah that was the electric fan. It was wired wrong by the previous owner. I later fixed it right. The bike was very quiet with the stock mufflers.
