There are six smart meters in a ten foot radius in my neighbors backyard! This HAS to be extremely dangerous!

Kids play in this very area!

Please let me know if you have seen anything like this in your city.

Probably the cellphone in you pocket is more hazardous to your health but most people don't realize how dangerous cellphones are. Cell towers, wireless hotspots are also sources of chronic exposure. Each one of these sources give exposure that exceeds the legal limits for a leaky microwave oven.

I've not tested a smart meter yet but my guess is that while it is not safe it is probably safer than a call made on 3G phone in the living room next door.

I've read that these smart meter can upload up to 100 times to a mesh network in your neighborhood. Where are the mesh networks located? And, also you can be hit with not just your sm but many of your neighbor's sm when they upload all day long.

Smart meters are going to be used against you !!!. They are going to establish a baseline of electrical usage per household !!!. Then they will start mandating drastic reductions of the home's allowable energy use. It is very similar to the methods that the government used to steal away all of the fishing rights from all of America's small boat commercial fishermen. Every few years they would keep doing 40%, 50% or 60% reductions of our days at sea, and catch limits, now we have nothing !!!.

I've already told PG&E that I'm declining the SmartMeter for my rental apt. in SF. I have a friend making a box with a lock so that I can protect all 3 in my building. I hope the plan works.
