Rage Against the Machine at RNC08 #4

After performing several of their tunes a capella Tuesday evening on the Minnesota State Capitol lawn (not by choice -- the state police refused to allow the band to take the stage for a surprise set closing the day's Ripple Effect Festival) members of Rage Against the Machine exited the field flanked by several bodyguards and hopped into 3 SUVs waiting nearby. In a bizarre twist, the band's convoy had to drive through a section of the Poor People's March, which had just turned the corner from a side street. The marchers had no idea who was in the 3 shiny Suburbans and (apparently assuming the passengers were either police or Republican officials) began flipping them off, shouting swears, and changing "Stop the war on the poor."
